WHAT'S NEXT?


1. Get to a Bible Teaching Church in your community so you can learn, grow, fellowship and develop accountability.

2. Begin a study. If you email me your address and information with the subject line NEW BELIEVER to pamela@pamelashaw.com I will send you a Bible and a Bible Study. I recommend that you go out and purchase a Bible in either the Living Translation, New International Version, or New King James Version, and the EXPERIENCING GOD WORKBOOK Bible Study by Henry Blackaby.

3. Set aside time daily for study and prayer (I prefer morning quiet time).

4. Journal your prayers in the beginning…or always! When you pray:

  • Show your adoration of God to God! Praise and adoration
  • Confess your sins and repent (turn away from)
  • Give THANKS to God for all you can. Show Gratitude
  • Supplication. Ask God to meet your specific needs or the needs of others.
  • Make your requests known to HIM.

Often, people reject God's truth because we reject what we cannot physically see or intellectually understand. My response is a simple one. I would not trust my life, my work, and my eternal destiny to a God that I could match wits and intellect with! I am grateful that I have a God whose ways and thoughts are higher than my own. The Christian life is a life of Faith. As you grow in your faith, character, wisdom and knowledge of the Lord---all that will be given to you by Him as you seek Him, I pray you produce much fruit in your work and in your walk.
